Watch our docu-series starting this week

Dear Tiempo Community,
As we wrap up one of the most popular months for travel, we want to know—did you take a trip or even sneak in a quick escape from reality? If so, we’d love to see your pics and hear all about your adventures!
While many have been traveling for fun, our team at Tiempo Latino has been on a different kind of journey —one for a cause.
This week, our Spanish-language publication, in partnership with Climate Power En Acción, launched the video series “Tierra Mía,” to tell the story of how Latinos are experiencing the benefits of the Clean Energy Plan, — the most impactful climate progress of the past decade. Through six powerful episodes, we’ve captured stories from key states across the country.
Climate change disproportionately impacts Latinos in the U.S., who make up about 19% of the population, particularly due to their outdoor work and residential locations. Through “Tierra Mía,” we explore how Latinos are on the front lines of risk, but also on the front lines of defense.
The series explains the impact of climate change on the Latino community and highlights available resources and opportunities that can improve their lives and boost their economy.
Each episode of “Tierra Mía” will be available on Tiempo Latino's YouTube channel every Thursday at 6 p.m., starting in mid-August and continuing through the fall. The series will feature content focused on educating the community about how climate action provides access to affordable, cleaner energy while enhancing the resilience of Latino communities and strengthening the electric grid against extreme weather caused by climate change.
"I am deeply proud of the team involved in producing this important project. I am grateful to our partner, Climate Power En Acción, for providing us with the necessary resources to bring this vital information to light, highlight important issues, and share success stories with the Latino community in the United States. One of the key pillars of Tiempo Company's impact is our ability to connect with organizations and companies that have a firm purpose in supporting our community. Together, we aim to reach millions of eyes and hearts with relevant, recurring, and entertaining content, created by Latinos for Latinos.”
Taking action in climate change

Our continuous work sparking awareness
In February we launched “Tiempo de Acción” (Time for Action) alongside MEL, a prominent Hispanic communications agency, to raise awareness about the effects of climate change on Latinos.
The campaign featured a 2.7° tilt on digital platforms, symbolizing the urgency of global warming exceeding the 2.7°F safety threshold.
“Tiempo de Acción” drove significant engagement, with website traffic increasing by 20.3% compared to the previous quarter’s daily average.
